Restoration of the dimensions, properties of cast iron cylindrical parts by resistance build-up welding with wire

It is shown that application of resistance build-up welding of steel with wire for restoration of cast iron surfaces can be technically and economically justified. For this purpose it is necessary to provide a continuous built-up layer with a guaranteed quality of its joining with the a base metal.
