Abstract
The
results are given of experimental verification of the effectiveness of various
methods of cooling for lowering the welding deformations. It is found that
the most effective is showering, cooling by water jets and application of
crystalline heat absorbers. Welding with artificial heat removal can be
recommended as a promising resources-saving technology.
