Dynamics and diagnostics of clearances in multi-stand rolling

The types of transients on the torque in three stands of a small-grade mill at two-thread rolling are presented. Their features during the capture of the first strip and then the second strip are described. A method is proposed for calculating the coefficient of dynamism and the maximum peak load, when the next strips enter the rolls under load. The possibility of determination of the technical condition of the drive line in terms of wear and clearances is shown. 2 Ref., 1 Tabl., 1 Fig.
