Automatic system for monitoring and diagnosing the technical condition of fans for gas treatment of open-hearth furnaces is used for automatic performance of analysis of the technical condition of bearings and couplings, and determination of the type and degree of development of a defect. The results of implementation are given. Continuous monitoring of the technical condition of the fans allows specifying the amount of repair work and controlling the quality of repairs. 5 Ref., 1 Tabl., 7 Fig.
