Open Access Policy
The editorial board supports the open access initiative, which promotes the accelerated development of science. According to its principles, all journal content is freely available and free of charge for users or their institutions.
Users are guaranteed the right to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and cite full texts of articles from The Paton Welding Journal. Figures, tables, and brief excerpts from the journal may be published in scientific books and journals at no cost, but the materials must be properly cited (example: author, article title, The Paton Welding Journal, publication year, issue number, page number, figure number, and DOI of the article, if provided). Reprinting, systematic reproduction, or collective redistribution of any material from The Paton Welding Journal is allowed only with the consent of the journal's editorial board.
Authors retain copyright without restrictions. They are permitted to post the final PDF files of their articles, provided by The Paton Welding Journal, on their personal or institutional websites and, if necessary, deposit these files in archives.
