This work advances a scientifically substantiated concept of adaptive integrity management for the Ukrainian gas transmission
system under the transition to the Industry 4.0/5.0 paradigm and increasingly complex operating conditions, including wartime
impacts, decarbonization of the energy sector, and the prospective transportation of hydrogen–natural gas blends. A systematic
life-cycle assessment framework for gas transmission system assets is proposed, integrating physics-based modelling,
probabilistic reliability assessment methods, and innovative technologies for restoring the technical condition. A multi-level
integrity management architecture is presented, encompassing system-level optimization of operating regimes, individualized
assessment of defective pipeline sections based on finite element modelling, Weibull analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation, as
well as prediction of degradation processes as a key component of predictive maintenance. Particular attention is devoted to
the adaptation of repair technologies to the current technical condition of structures, taking into account corrosion–hydrogen
degradation mechanisms and localized stress–strain states. 36 Ref., 1 Tabl., 23 Fig.
