The Paton Welding Journal accepts for publication only original scientific articles that have not been previously published and have not been submitted for publication in other journals.

Every manuscript submitted to the editorial office is checked for plagiarism or self-plagiarism using the StrikePlagiarism.com service, as well as by relevant experts during the double-blind peer review process. If more than 15% of the text is found to be borrowed or if any form of plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) is detected, the manuscript is returned to the authors with the possibility of resubmission after revision.
