Purpose and objectives of the journal

The journal “Automatic Welding” is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal that publishes the results of original fundamental and applied research in the field of welding and related technologies (surfacing, coating, and cutting).

The journal’s scope includes:

• materials science and metallurgy of welding and related technologies using arc, laser, electron beam, hybrid, and other power sources;
• technologies and materials for welding structural materials;
• production of welded metal structures for various industries;
• repair and restoration to extend the service life of welded structures and assemblies;
• issues of strength, design, and optimization of welded structures;
• 3D printing technologies based on welding processes;
• methods of modeling, calculation, experimental verification, and development of new equipment for welding and related technologies with improved technical and economic performance, as well as promoting their implementation.
