Purpose and objectives of the journal

The journal “Technical Diagnostics and Non-Destructive Testing” is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal that publishes the results of original fundamental and applied research in the field of diagnostics of materials and structures; non-destructive testing methods for assessing the condition of materials and structures; theories, methods, and means of technical diagnostics; information and measurement technologies, automation, and instrument engineering; methods of modeling, calculation, experimental verification, and development of new equipment for technical diagnostics and non-destructive testing with improved technical and economic performance, and promoting their implementation.

The journal’s scope includes:
  • theory and practice of non-destructive testing methods;
  • research using ultrasonic, X-ray, magnetic particle, capillary, electromagnetic acoustic, magneto-optical, and thermal non-destructive testing methods for assessing the quality of objects without destroying them;
  • automation, robotization, and intellectualization of non-destructive testing methods;
  • methods for determining the type, location, and actual dimensions of defects in critical structures;
  • development of non-destructive testing methods for analyzing new materials;
  • technical diagnostics of objects in the aerospace, defense, oil and gas, nuclear, and other industrial sectors.
The articles published in the journal emphasize both scientific novelty and practical value. The Founder’s extensive collaboration with Ukrainian and international research institutes and educational centers enables the journal to have articles reviewed by renowned experts and to feature authors with cutting-edge research findings.
The journal publishes scientific articles, reviews, analytical materials, and results of experimental studies that demonstrate scientific novelty, theoretical significance, and practical value for the development of modern methods for diagnosing critical industrial and building structures.
