Abstract
orific
values — is currently driven by the requirements of the Law of Ukraine regulating the introduction of accounting and
settlements on the natural gas market based on gas volume in energy units. This paper presents the results of research aimed at
improving the method of rapid (express) control of the higher and lower calorific values of natural gas in compliance with the
requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Natural Gas Market”. It is shown that the applied circuit-design solutions make
it possible to significantly reduce measurement error, to implement the capability of measuring not only the lower but also
the higher calorific value of natural gas, and to expand the application range of the developed device for both industrial and
household conditions.
