Abstract
The possibility of producing diffusion bonds of γ-TiAl based alloys using nanolayered Ti/Al interlayer has been studied. It is shown that utilization of nanolayered foil as an intermediate element allows formation of sound joints in vacuum diffusion welding. Peculiarities of microstructure of the joint zone have been studied.
