Design of an inductor with a magnetic core for heating flat surfaces

Abstract
A procedure of design of a system of circular inductor with the magnetic core, namely a flat part (electric load), is described, based on application of the equivalent circuits and the results of calculation of the circuit electrical parameters. Calculation results and experimental data are given which demonstrate that the procedure is well-grounded and is sufficiently accurate for practical calculations.
