The object of the study is the process of forming the structure and mechanical properties of thin-walled products manufactured by
additive electron-beam technology (EBM) from titanium alloy powder VT6 of the Ti–6Al–4V alloying system. The alloy is widely
used in industry due to its high weldability, strength and fatigue resistance. As a raw material, spherical titanium alloy owder VT6
with a particle size of 40…160 μm, obtained by the method of rotary plasma praying, was used. A computer model was created
in the Materialise Magics program, according to which 36 samples were printed with beam speeds in the range of 500…6000
mm/s. It was found that a beam speed of 500 mm/s in combination with an energy density of 40 J/mm³ ensures complete fusion
of the powder layer, stable shaping and controlled thermal conditions. This contributes to the formation of a balanced (α+β)-
microstructure with an acicular orphology of the α-phase with an α-plate thickness of 0.5…1.5 μm. The volume fraction of α-Ti
is 90 ± 3%, β-Ti – 10 ± 3%. The microhardness level of the samples is HV0.1 = 3.5 ± 0.7 GPa. The obtained results demonstrate
that the combination of high-quality powder material and rational printing mode provides high process reproducibility, structural
stability and suitability of the technology for the manufacture of thin-walled products. 15 Ref., 4 Tabl., 6 Fig.
