Abstract
New
technology of manufacture of flanged joints, made from carbon steels, using
a braze welding is considered. Data for calculation of the process parameters
and results of testing the joints are given. The technology of braze welding
is characterized by a high efficiency, adaptability to mechanization and
automation for manufacture of flanged joints. No high-skill personnel is
required.
Keywords: braze welding, flanges, joints, structures, edge preparation, weld area, strength
