Scanning X-ray system based on miniature solid-state transducers

Nowadays digital methods of nondestructive testing using full-scale semi-conductor X-Ray plane-parallel detectors became developed instead of film radiography in the world practice. These transducers cannot find wide practical application in Ukraine, because of their high cost. We proposed X-Ray TV systems based on relatively inexpensive miniature solid-state transducers. Enlargement of the inspected zone is achieved by electromechanical scanning with subsequent program stitching of the obtained separate small format digital X-ray images. 8 Ref., Fig. 13
