The journal was founded in 1948 by Academician Evgeny Paton.

It is published six times a year.

Languages of publication: Ukrainian and English.

Editor-in-Chief: Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Igor Krivtsun.

The editorial policy is focused on ensuring high standards of peer review, international academic integrity, and the integration of published results into the global scientific community.\

The journal belongs to the “Mechanical Engineering and Machine Building” cluster and publishes articles in the following fields:

• G9 Applied Mechanics;
• G11 Machinery;
• G12 Aviation and rocket-space technic.
