Fractal parameterisation of welded joint zones

Modern approaches to the diagnosis of welded joints are quite extensive and require resources in the form of equipment, specialists and time. The idea behind this work is to start searching for correlations in welded joint areas using fractal analysis. Fractal analysis is a structurally sensitive method and, accordingly, it can be used to «detect» defects at an early stage of their formation.
